The Wizard of Oz

My vacation was wonderful......hard to believe I have been back two weeks.  Seems like yesterday.
Down to some business......my book, Musings, went very well.  I did forget one page of printing but the ladies will get that very soon.  I'm having huge computer issues.
My next class is the Wizard book....finally posting some pictures.  It runs next week, October 4 & 5th, class fee is $55.00.  This includes all the printed material, all the paper and embellishments.  There is still an opening so call the store The Happy Scrapper to reserve your space.... Back to work for me.  All my printing is done for the Wizard but now I begin to get the kits together.

Summer Days.........

It's so hard to believe that summer is winding down......but with the cooler evenings you know its August.  I loved the heat this summer after our long winter but do so enjoy autumn.  Very excited about all the fun projects roaming around in my head.
The Circus book class is going amazingly well.........all the ladies are working hard.  It was so quiet at one point it scared me........LOL!  They finish up tonight and I believe some will be very close to being done, shocking I know.  Thanks ladies........this has been a great class.
I hope to post pictures of my new upcoming class....... "Musings".   I used PinkPaislee's "Butterfly Garden" paper.....a soft feminine line of paper.  Now if I could only find the book!  I know I'm disorganized but this is ridiculous even for me.  LOL  Wish me luck.

Monday, Monday...........

Love this Michigan weather......... hot one day next stormy and cooling.  But I am very thankful that is all we have to deal with.  My heart goes out to those who's lives were lost and those effected by the tornadoes  yesterday.

Here are a couple of the layouts I did for  The Happy Scrapper .  Also check out the schedule for all upcoming classes.  "Dates to Remember" is scheduled for June 8th at 6:30pm.  The class fee is $33.00 which includes all the supplies for this book.  All you need to bring is your cutter, glue and basic paper crafting tools.

Back Again.....

Last Saturday I taught  "The Steampunk Book".  The gals were amazing, a little overwhelmed, but very happy with their books.  I know they are still working on them.  I had a great time in class and look forward to my next class which will be June 8th.

Dates to Celebrate is the next book.  There are pockets and places for photos and pages to write down birthdays and anniversaries.  Of course you could use it for anything you wanted.  I used a line of paper from My Minds Eye, another line of paper that I love.  So come on into The Happy Scrapper and check it out.

There are several fun books in the works so keep checking back.  Now don't tell anyone but I'm actually going to do a page layout.  No fainting please!

I hope to see you there.
sorry about the side view.........

My next project "Steampunk" (using Graphic 45 of course) will be finished in just a few days......I am very excited about the response that it has already received.  I look forward to sharing it soon.

Snow Day!

Sorry to say we felt it best to postpone the class for the Valentine Book.  Due to the coming storm.  As soon as a new day is picked I will post it.   The only good thing about this snow is maybe I will hunker down and start a new book.
The Game book is done........all done.  I will be posting more pictures and will be working on a date for the class.  If you have any interest in this class please let me know as it will be a small class with only 6 or 7 spaces.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

It's hard to believe that it's 2011.  As a child  I never thought I would ever live to see the year 2000. Now into the second decade of the new century.  Time really does fly and the older you get the faster it flies.

A new year.......a new look.  Very soon my blog will have its own new custom design.  I am very excited about this.  I have found the most incredible gal, Karen Valentine,(Valentine Design) who designs blogs.  She also has a blog, My Desert Cottage, which is fantastic.  I want to move into her home.  LOL  I can hardly wait to see what wonderful designs she has for me.

Do my local friends know about "The Happy Scrapper"?  It's the new scrapbook store in the area.  Located at 28905 Harper Ave, Saint Clair Shores, 586-778-8828.  Their web site ..... www.happyscrapperllc.com.
Stop in and check it out.  They are adding new merchandise every week.  There is also a great scrap room.

So with all that in mind I have been working on some new creations for "The Happy Scrapper".   I will be teaching there very soon.  First on the agenda is a book for Valentines.  Oh such great graphics I have found.  There will be lots of stickles, glitter, lace and all the fun details and embellishments.  I am looking forward to getting back to holding classes.
My book on games is almost finished.....just a few more embellishments.
